Ouch!! This really hurt if we are going to be honest. Betrayal does not come from people we have no relationship with, but rather people we have close relationship with, people we least expect most of the times.
The enemy will do all he can to come in and use these to get at us, but praise God that no matter the hurt, when we take it to the Lord and view it through God's own eyes, He works it all for our good and we come out stronger.
Judas came with a kiss saying "Rabbi" Jesus responded " Friend do what you came here to do" Matthew 26: 49-50
In the midst of the pain of being betrayed by of His own, Jesus still called Judas - Friend!
Judas action was not going to change Jesus loyalty towards him. His action was not going to change Jesus Character of being loyal and faithful.
Jesus had always extended friendship to Judas, even though He knew he was going to betray Him. This is the beauty of God i do admire, ' Lord Jesus let missionaries/ministers be like You" Yes we can, by the help of the Holy Spirit we can!
Sure Jesus knows the pain of betrayal "After saying these things, He was troubled in His spirit, and testified, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” John 13:21. So dear, He understands the pain, and can relate, but No matter the pain, we can be healed and come out stronger than ever, because we have the Spirit of Christ Jesus in us. Are we willing?
We shouldn't hold this pain in our hearts so it doesn't create a deep wound and hence house bitterness in us, neither should we seek revenge. This is what the enemy wants, that he hinders you from being and doing all the Lord desires of you.
Jesus knows how it feels and does understand, so let us run to Him, cry on His shoulders, receive healing and learn from His responds. His Holy Spirit is there to help us in such a time as this.
THANK YOU LORD
